Ingredients
  

  • For the Dish:
  • 8 ounces bowtie pasta or your preferred pasta shape
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half for a lighter option
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Pasta :
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook the Ground Beef :
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces with a spatula. Drain excess grease if needed.
  • Sauté the Vegetables :
  • In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  • Make the Sauce :
  • Stir in the heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  • Combine Everything :
  • Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet with the sauce and ground beef. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated with the creamy sauce.
  • Serve :
  • Divide the pasta into serving bowls. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Substitute ground beef with ground turkey, chicken, or Italian sausage for a different flavor profile.
For extra veggies, add sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or bell peppers to the dish.
